The repeater mechanism chimes the hours on a low-toned gong, quarter hours as a paired strike, and minutes on a high-pitched gong, activated by a slide on the left side of the case. The platinum case is engineered for optimal sound projection, with the case architecture tuned to enhance the gongs' resonance. The silver dial maintains the Patrimony's characteristic minimalism, with no indication that this is anything other than a simple dress watch — until the owner activates the repeater.
