The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 26420SO represents the new generation of the Offshore collection, introducing the in-house caliber 4404 with flyback chronograph functionality. The 43mm case combines stainless steel with a black ceramic octagonal bezel, creating a striking two-material aesthetic that is both modern and robust. The ceramic bezel is virtually scratch-proof and adds a contemporary edge to the classic Offshore design. The caliber 4404, featuring a column wheel flyback chronograph with a 70-hour power reserve, represents a significant technical upgrade over the previous-generation movements used in the Offshore. The "Mega Tapisserie" dial in black provides the bold, textured backdrop that defines the Offshore family, while contrasting white sub-registers ensure chronograph legibility. The crown and pushers are protected by the characteristic Offshore crown guards, and the rubber-molded pusher surrounds provide tactile feedback during chronograph operation.
